GenLIMS is laboratory management software. It helps laboratories organise bookings, testing workflows, reports, accounts and operations — it does not itself perform testing or certify results.

The scientific accuracy, validity and compliance of test results and reports remain the sole responsibility of the laboratory using the software.
GenLIMS supports NABL (ISO/IEC 17025) aligned workflows, but using GenLIMS does not by itself make a laboratory NABL-accredited or compliant. Accreditation is granted by NABL based on the laboratory's own quality system.
