This Privacy Policy explains how GenSkyTech ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you use the GenLIMS software and the genlims.in website. We comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India).

Information we collect

Account information: name, laboratory name, email, phone and city, when you register or contact us.
License information: license key, installation identifier, domain and software version of your GenLIMS installation, used to operate the licensing service.
Usage information: basic technical logs (IP address, timestamps) generated when your installation contacts our license server.
Payment information: processed by our payment partners (such as Razorpay). We do not store your card or banking credentials.

Your laboratory's data

Data you enter inside your GenLIMS installation (bookings, clients, reports, employees, invoices) belongs to your laboratory. On self-hosted installations it never reaches our servers. On managed hosting we store it only to run your installation, never sell it, and delete or export it on your written request.

To provide, license and support the GenLIMS software.
To contact you about your trial, subscription, renewals and support requests.
To improve our product and website.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers needed to run our business (hosting, payments, communication) under appropriate safeguards, or when required by law.

Security

We use encryption in transit, signed licensing, role-based access and server hardening. No system is 100% secure; we promptly address any vulnerability reported to us.

Your rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent, by writing to projects.genskytech@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.
